Signature offers fine dining with a relaxed ambiance. The service is always exceptional, the waiters are present but unobtrusive, and the food is fairly consistent.
There is live music, often jazzy tones that lend that laid-back yet still upmarket feel to the place. The food is a fine mix of French classics and fusion think duck orange, prawn curry, their Signature trio of duck leg, pork belly and quail and a wide choice of seafood, beef and vegetarian options.
Their duck orange has never disappointed. Moist, flavoursome – although it was a bit too saucy the last time I had it; their prawn curry offers just the right balance of their mild curry with its assortments of condiments; even their meaty Signature trio, though meat heavy, is an exquisite mélange of flavours.
We often pass on their dessert, but on offer are cheesecake, malva pudding and the obligatory staple of every French-inspired restaurants, a trio of creme brûlée.
Signature is well worth it for that quick lunch or lingering dinner.
